A Suggestion When Searching for a Home on the Internet

remax_balloon.jpgAs you know if you have looked at my profile, I am affiliated with RE/MAX International, based in the Denver area (my brokerage is RE/MAX Associates here in the San Diego area).

In terms of your house hunting, using the Internet to search is one of the best strategies you should be employing (over 80% of buyers use the Internet to search for a home). I wanted to make sure you know that RE/MAX.com has listings nationally from all the MLS organizations, so you can search in one place no matter where in the country you are looking. While this is similar to Realtor.com the RE/MAX site has better and more varied functionality, and agents ave the capability to customize the listings so you may get more information and more photos.

RE/MAX.com is a good alternative if you are not hooked up with an agent. If you do have an agent the best source of listings wll be that agent (their website or having them email you listings regularly based on your criteria).

FOR SELLERS:The other thing to know is that RE/MAX.com is the top ranked site for all the real estate companies nationally and there are over 2,000,000 hits per month. If you are going to be selling, having this exposure is critical (yep, that’s my plug for working with a RE/MAX agent such as myself).
